Each team works closely with a Lead and/or Senior Consultant who guides the team and ensures that the client receives a quality consulting service.
We have a "bench" of project Leads and Seniors who have expressed interest in serving the community and helping volunteer consultants learn new skills. Project leaders are recruited directly by the Core Team from our professionals or from successful consulting team members who qualify for this role. They must have significant consulting experience and command credibility with clients as well as volunteer consultants.
The Senior may directly lead the project or may ‘shadow’ an experienced Lead Consultant who serves as the team facilitator and project manager. The Senior provides coaching, mentoring, and problem solving assistance to the team.
Seniors are responsible for the overall quality of the project, our mission of community service, and for providing a basis of team and individual learning around consultancy skills. Seniors take an active role in meeting with the team, and they stay in touch with the client, although their involvement in each phase of the project may vary depending on the project and their availability; this can allow team members to have the experience of working on their own with the client.
