Do you know a nonprofit that would benefit from organization development work? ODN Oregon's Community Consulting Project would like to partner with them on a project! Now, more than ever, OD can help nonprofits become more resilient in the face of current challenges by facilitating work to: develop a healthy employee culture, improve communication methods, or create a strategic plan. These and many others are examples of OD work CCP consultants have tackled.

Blending our skills with our passion to make a difference in our community.
The Community Consulting Project (CCP) provides OD consultation to non-profits in our area by bringing together dynamic teams of our members to provide this service to organizations that might otherwise be unable to afford this kind of support. Utilizing volunteers from our network, we form Consulting Teams of 2-4 individuals, backed by an experienced Senior Consultant with 10-20 years of consulting experience.
Since CCP began in 2005 we have completed over 170 projects with non-profit organizations in our community.
CCP consulting teams work with a client to complete an appropriate client project. After a successful short-term project, we sometimes choose to work intensively with a non-profit client for a 12-18 month period. These are typically larger non-profits, able to pay low-bono rates, who seek more transformational work and meet our selection criteria. In these cases, multiple teams may address a variety of interrelated issues to produce wholistic changes.
Purpose – Why Are We Doing This?
With this program, we seek to share the values and skills of the OD field with organizations in the community who might need it. This program provides an opportunity to meet two important goals:
- Increase community awareness of the value of OD in enhancing the success of organizations.
- Provide opportunities for OD professionals to learn, to network, and to serve.
The Community Consulting Program represents a WIN-WIN for our association, our members, and our community.
