How to Talk with Anyone, Anytime, Anyplace, about Anything – September 27, 2018

August 28, 2018 by ODN Oregon

How to Talk with Anyone, Anytime, Anyplace, about Anything:
The Joy of Mindful Conversation

  • What is “Mindful Conversation?”
  • Why is it a critical 21st century organization competence and an essential leadership skill?
  • Why is it a challenge for so many?
  • Can it be taught?

This interactive presentation is appropriate for managers, consultants, trainers, coaches, and just plain folk who want to make a difference in the world. Learn how to recognize and engage in Mindful Conversation in your work and home life. Learn how to stimulate deeper, more satisfying, more productive conversations where openness, authenticity and respect are the guiding principles. Explore the power of personal connection, the (not so) secret tool for building top performers, strong teams, and resilient organizations.

Attendees will be invited to participate in the free diagnostic “Understanding Conversational Style” survey. Each participant will receive a confidential, customized report that describes his/her unique conversational style, its strengths and limitations, with suggestions for further growth.
