How do you define Organization Development (OD)? Have you utilized OD practices in your coaching business?
In this interactive session, you will learn how closely leadership coaching parallels OD. Through OD practitioner storytelling, learn the benefits to pairing leadership coaching with OD to 1) evolve your reputation and business, 2) uncover opportunities to partner with OD practitioners, and 3) pair coaching with OD to impact organization and workgroup change.
You'll walk away with:
- An understanding of OD and its parallels with leader coaching.
- Knowledge of the OD lens to identify opportunities to consult with your coaching client’s team and/or system.
- Practice through small group storytelling with fellow coaches and OD practitioners.

About Mary Cogan
Mary noticed the natural blending of her service, sales and market research experiences in the fields of telecommunication, technology and healthcare could lead to a role in the social sciences. This culminated in researching and pursing an experiential advanced degree in Organization Development (OD) at American University, Washington, D.C. Her professional and academic journeys then coalesced into a role as an Organization Development consultant – which includes facilitation, leadership and team education, program management and leadership coaching.
With over 20 years experience, Mary has impacted organizational and service line performance - utilizing proven change models, developing leaders and teams while delivering behavioral-based coaching. Mary also drove system-wide employee engagement initiatives that impacted employees at all levels of the organization. As a trusted advisor, she closely partners with Executives, HR business partners and frontline leaders in support of achieving their business objectives.
