Monthly Meeting Date, Time, & Location

Regular Monthly meetings are held at:

    Details

    University Place (Multnomah Falls Room)
    310 SW Lincoln Street
    Portland, Oregon 97201
    Ph: 503-221-0140
    http://www.pdx.edu/cegs/uplace.html

    Directions

Traveling North on I-5, take the I-05 exit. Take the 4th Street Exit to Downtown. Take a right at Lincoln and the University Place will be on your right.

Traveling South on I-5, take the I-405 exit, then take 6th St exit, and go left. Take a right on Harrison, go to 1st and then take a left on Lincoln Street. University Place will be on the left. Please be sure to go to the second entrance to stop at the kiosk and get your parking ticket.

    Parking

University Place has discontinued the $2.00 parking discount for ODN-OR meeting attendees. Worst case is that parking for our meetings there would be $3 per car for the evening. We hope to get that discount reinstated and will be speaking directly with the PSU department that imposed the increase on University Place's lot.

    Other Parking Options:

    1. Lucky in the Lot?: Some nights the booth has no attendant. On those nights (and we have no way of knowing when that will occur) just park and come into the meeting and you will not have to pay. If you see an attendant and don't want to pay $3.00 try the next option.
    2. Metered Parking on nearby Streets At the rate of $1.25 per hour until 7pm when it is free. For example, if you arrive at 6:15 for the meeting you would pay $1.00 for 48 minutes of parking. Use coins, bills, or credit cards.
    3. Where to find open parking spaces: Some spaces may be available on Lincoln Avenue directly in front of University Place. Many more open spaces can be found to the West of University Place on Fourth Avenue. Even better places to find close-in, available spots are on the small side streets that join 4th Avenue, directly West of University Place and to the West of 4th.
    4. Think Sustainability Carpool with another member. When we upgrade our website, hopefully there will be better ways for members to contact one another about such things.

    Cost

The cost for chapter members is free. The cost for others is $10. The fee can be used to offset the membership fee if paid at the program.

    Time

Pre-Meeting: 5:00 - 6:00 pm (held in Encore 310, University Place's dining room, as a way to meet colleagues and have a bite to eat!)
    KickOff: 6:00 – 6:30 PM
    Program: 6:30 - 8:15 PM
    Closing and Announcements: 8:15 - 8:30 PM

All sessions and meetings will meet in the Multnomah Falls Room at University Place.
