20 / 20 Vision

November 10, 2004
Thomas Jones, PhD

Overview

During the 2001 - 2020 time frame, we will experience breathtakingly fast change. This presentation offers a humorous and hopeful view of the next 2 decades and speculates about the rate and kinds of change we can expect with a particular emphasis on technological change. Specifically, this presentation explores the new economy, new business models, and the 2 standards of the information age: virtuality and mass-customization.
