Overview
Community Change, Community Service. What is our role as OD professionals? At our shared visioning session in January, many of us wanted our ODN network to stand for some kind community contribution. At this session, Maralyn Turner, PhD, a well known OD consultant and past facility of Antioch University at Seattle Organization Systems Renewal Program will speak about her experiences as a Board member and her involvement on community service projects. She will describe the value and skills that OD professionals offer to community development and change projects. An interactive discussion on the possible contribution of ODN Oregon to community service will follow. Miriam Lang, an ODN member of the Leadership group will present her proposal for community service and will recruit volunteers for a formal task force.
Monthly Book Exchange
Members have asked to host a book / materials exchange as part of the monthly program. There will be a table set up for this exchange beginning at 6 pm. Bring those dusty books and papers and trade them for another's favorites!
