Explore Strategic Models

June 11, 2003
Various

Overview

The topic for our June Chapter meeting is to explore, as a group, several strategic management models.

The purpose of our meeting would be to briefly look at several strategy models and then engage in a healthy debate or discussion on the merits of each, and learn ways that we can adapt them for use with our clients. There is valuable learning in the debate / discussion format.

We could begin our session with a 15-minute discussion of the following questions to get things rolling:

Four members will give a brief overview of a strategy that they are currently using or have used. After each presnetation, the group will have time to ask questions and exploer the strategy more deeply.

Strategy: The central, integrated, externally-oriented concept of how we will achieve our objectives.
