~ The ODN Oregon Vision
To become Oregon’s source for anyone wanting to gain insights, tools and connections related to improving organizations.
~ Our Value Proposition:
* Cutting-edge organizational development theory and methodology
Learn and apply cutting-edge OD practices and stay current with OD trends. Cutting edge meaning “What is currently working to create positive change in organizations.”
- Learn relevant theories, techniques, tips, strategies that have a track record of success. This leads to the idea of sharing these methods along with case studies to show the value of OD and how it does work. Also anything that brings light to future trends that we need to prepare for and ways we might do so. What do we need to do to prepare for the future? How will globalization affect us as practitioners and our work? What are the skills, behaviors, mindset, ways of being that as an OD practitioner we need to embody?
* Networking inside a rich and diverse learning community
- Meet and learn with other successful OD practitioners.
- Explore the field as a career interest.
- Enjoy being with people in a meaningful way as you develop friends in a profession that continues to grow as a valuable resource for organizations, corporate and non profit.
- Bring lightness in the room to move individuals into a more positive state of being, more resourceful, more compassionate.
*Action Learning
We have compelling, relevant programs on cutting edge OD topics presented by exceptional speakers.
We have a commitment to learn as a community. Inviting all of the minds in the meeting room to participate as contributors and co-learners (AND) inviting them to take these skills and to apply their learning in the own organizations, bringing back their learning and results into ODN.
* Ongoing opportunities for members to participate in relevant
real-world OD consulting projects
We build confidence and skills in consulting. Participate in the Community Consulting Project where you will work along with seasoned colleagues providing community service. A great way to develop and sharpen your skill and build your confidence.
